How to Earn Money Instantly with your Website or Blog.

Making money on the internet with your own website should be a venture that any present or future website or blog owner should consider seriously because it is not as difficult as some people may think! Making money online offers possibilities for passive income that some of you never could have even dreamed of a few short decades ago. A properly monetized website can generate income ranging from supplemental to a full time living income depending on how much work you are willing to put into promoting your website.

The different possibilities for making money online are almost as great as the possibilities for making money offline, but I’ll try to highlight two of the easiest ways to earn money instantly with your own website.

There are many aspects that go into a profitable website but we can boil the nuts of bolts of making money online to two steps:

1. Getting visitors to your site.

2. Getting those visitors to take some action.

No money can be made if you don’t have these two steps in place.

In this article I’ll assume you already have people coming to your site and focus on the second part of the equation, how to earn money instantly by getting your visitors to take action.

You’ll notice I didn’t say that someone must actually buy something from you for you to make money online. In fact one of the easiest ways to make money with your website doesn’t involve you selling anything at all. I’m referring to the Google Adsense Program.

The concept behind this program is simple. Many businesses are willing to pay you when you redirect your web visitors to their site. So, if you already have visitors coming to your site there’s a really easy way to turn those visitors into pounds or dollars. All you’d need to do is go to https://www.google.com/adsense/ and open an account.

Follow the directions there to make your website part of their “Adsense for Content” network. You will be asked to design a box which will display ads on your website. Google will give you some HTML code which you or your web designer can install onto your site and you’re done! The nifty thing about Google Adwords is that they will automatically do their best to find out what your site is all about and display only the ads that they think would be of interest to your particular web visitors.

Every time one of your web visitors clicks on one of those ads, you make money. Now this might not be a lot of money, but it can add up over time. You will not get paid directly by the company whose ad was displayed on your site, but by Google who acts as the middle man between you and these companies. You can log into your Google Adwords account to see how much money you’ve made and they will send you a cheque each month when your bill reaches the minimum amount required for a payout.

How much money can you make from Google Adwords?

Some make pennies and others pay their mortgage with the program each month. How much money you make really depends on three factors:

1: How many visitors you have on your site each month.

2: How many of those visitors actually click on one of your ads.

3: How much each click that happens is worth.

Click prices can range from as low as one penny to as much as five dollars per click.

A hotly debated topic among Adsense users is how best to construct ads that will generate the most amount of clicks and therefore the most money for the webmaster. This question becomes relevant when you are asked by Google to choose colours for your ad.

Some webmasters insist that an advert which blends into the colour scheme of your site works best. Their logic is that such a colour scheme doesn’t make your adverts look like adverts at all, but rather just another part of your site. People may feel more comfortable clicking on something that doesn’t seem like advertising.

Others argue that if the advert blends in too much people simply won’t notice the advert so you lose any chance of getting paid. Seeing this debate rage on for years I’m convinced that neither strategy is much better than the other, just pick the one you feel most comfortable with and don’t be stuck somewhere in between the two strategies. Either blend it in, or make is stick out like a sore thumb.

Most Adsense publishers will tell you that the best location for your advert is the “skyscraper” box which is a horizontal box that runs across the top of your website. This may produce the most clicks but also could turn off your visitors because it is so prominent. Do what you think will be right for your particular clientele.

Studies done on web visitor behaviour appear to show that when a visitor comes to your site they scan the page starting from the left and then up across the top of the page and to the right. This means that another hot spot to place your advert might be a vertical ad box running along the left side of the page.

Another way to make money online that can be even more profitable than the Google Adsense programearn_money_instantly but this time the web visitor will actually need to buy something for you to profit is called affiliate marketing. Many online entrepreneurs will give you a commission if you promote one or more of their products on your website.

This works out great for you because you don’t need to have a product, do customer service, or have any of the other headaches business owners usually have. You simply redirect your web visitors through your own unique link to their site and if they buy, you get a cut of the sale.

There are three major sites you can join to start making money with your website as an affiliate.

1: Clickbank.com: Specializing in digital products e.g. ebooks or downloadable videos.

2: Paydot.com: Specializing in products related to making money online.

3: Commission Junction (www.cj.com): Covering all kinds of products and has larger corporations in its arsenal than Clickbank or Paydot.

A quick look at the marketplace at Clickbank suggests that sometimes you can earn more from a sale of a product as an affiliate than the product owner themselves, as commissions can go as high as 75%! Commission Junction offers the largest variety of products but you must be approved by the product owner before you can become their affiliate and the commissions there are generally much more conservative.
Create an account with at least one of these companies today.

The key to making sales as an affiliate is relevance. If your site is about cowboy boots you can pretty safely assume your web visitors won’t be interested in scented bath soaps. But they will probably be interested in buying a saddle. Get the idea? Choose products to promote that are complimentary to something you are already selling are writing about on your site and reap the benefits.

There is more than one way to get your visitors to click on your unique affiliate links and start earning commissions. One thing you can do is have your webmaster create a new section on your site called “Products”, “Related Products” or “Recommended Items”. There you can display the links with a quick blurb about why you think the product is so great.

Another, and more effective way is to actually integrate the mention of your affiliate product into the text people are already reading on your site.

So if you have an article on your site about weight loss, at the end of the article consider saying something like: “And if you really want to start shedding those pounds check this out [here place the affiliate link to a Clickbank Product About Weight Loss]” You can use Affiliate links on your site instead of the Adsense ads you display or in addition to them.

If you use both techniques on your site together you maximize the chance that someone on your site will see something they like and take action. The more action they take, the more you can earn money instantly. Making money online is really just that simple. But don’t forget that you need traffic to benefit from both of these strategies, the more the better!
