Chefhelp.co.uk gets positive results with High Impact

Garon Trivett owns a business called Chef Help. He provides temp Chef, freelance chef and relief chef services to hotels and restaurants in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset and the surrounding areas to cover chefs holiday periods or absence from work.

High Impact the web design Bournemouth company were approached by Garon Trivett the owner of relief chef company ChefHelp.co.uk on the 19/11/2008. Garon had built a three page website himself using a third party software solution provided by his hosting company with limited success. He will be the first to admit that he is not a designer and he was unhappy with the visual look of his site and the lack of visitors that it had generated.

Although Garon had managed to build a couple of web pages and host them on the internet his website was not getting any traffic from search engines. Also, he could not find his own website when he typed the kind of keywords into Google and Yahoo that he assumed people would used to find a business that offers his services.

He was also concerned when he typed the words “Chef Help” into Google and discovered that he was on page three. Because this phrase is his domain name he should be ranking much high and he realised that his website did not only look unprofessional and not portray the image that he wanted but search engines didn’t like it either.

Once High Impact was aware what Garon wanted to achieve we set to work to design him a new website built on a content management system and search engine optimise his website so that people could find is new website organically on search engines (i.e. on the left hand side of the page where the clicks are free).

Following the completion of the design, build and search engine optimisation of ChefHelp.co.uk what have been the results? The have been fantastic, with Garon gain lots of free organic listings on Yahoo.co.uk and Google.co.uk for phrases relevant to his business like temp chef Bournemouth, relief chef Bournemouth and many more.
